A grief companion

What's here, and what's Practice

WithYou is free to use, today and every day, for as long as you need it.

Talk it through, keep their memory, ground yourself on the hard days. That part does not have a price and it never will. Grief does not wait for a subscription to load.

Practice is different. It's for when you're ready to work on something, one small thing at a time. It's optional. It's slower. It's $5.99 a month, or $48 a year, and you can leave whenever.

Three ways to use WithYou.

Guest and a free account cost the same thing: nothing. Practice is the one part with a price.

A practice in progress. Four gentle steps, and you can leave at any point.

Why there is a price on one part and not the other.

We charge for Practice because it takes real work to make it well, and because a small paid layer is what keeps the free part free, without ads and without a company behind us that needs to sell your grief to someone.

We do not gate the hard nights. We do not send urgency emails. We do not save your card and hope you forget. If any of that changes, we will have stopped being WithYou.

A few things people ask.

Why isn't Practice free too?

Because it takes real, ongoing work to build well, and a small paid layer is what lets the free companion stay free for everyone, without ads and without selling anyone's grief to a data broker. The free tier isn't a trial or a teaser. It's the whole point.

What's the difference between Guest and a Free Account?

Guest mode needs nothing, not even an email, and gives you full access to the companion: talking it through, grounding, and coping support. A free account is still free, but signing in lets WithYou save your memories, your check-ins, and your story between visits, since a guest session does not persist that.

What happens to my saved memories and conversations if I cancel?

Nothing about the free companion changes when you cancel Practice. Your conversations, memories, and check-ins stay exactly as they were. Cancelling only removes access to the guided Practice library, not anything you've already built with WithYou.

Is Practice a replacement for therapy?

No. Practice is a set of small, guided exercises for the space between sessions, or for when a session isn't available. It's not a diagnosis tool, and it's not a substitute for a therapist, a doctor, or a crisis line.

Can I switch between monthly and annual billing?

Yes, from your account settings, at any time. There's no penalty either direction, and no call required.

Do I need a subscription to use the app at all?

No. Talking it through, keeping memories, daily check-ins, and grounding support for hard moments are all free, permanently, with no account required to start. Practice is the only part that's paid.
